Often injured, Fernando Torres failed to shine with Liverpool in the first half this season. Roy Hodgson is optimistic Torres could ‘explode’ as more and better condition of the Spanish striker’s fitness.
New Torres appeared 18 times for the Reds this season with a donation of five goals. The conditions which create an injury prone 26-year player is often absent because they have to undergo treatment. Even in December a new El Nino appears twice.
Although Torres was still far from his best performance, the Spanish national team striker did not lose the trust of manager Roy Hodgson. Hodgson remains confident Torres can prove ourselves as one of the most feared striker in Europe. Moreover, the former Atletico Madrid player was later getting fit.
Fernando is getting stronger, fitter and more confident. All he needed was one or two goals and then he will explode.
